Nose: Tarry ropes, creosote and linseed oil along with waxy dark chocolate, warm blackcurrants and muscovado sugar. Heady, intense and powerful.
Palate: Deep, peppery and chewy, like a peppered steak soaked in pepper sauce. A tang of crispy seaweed, espresso coffee with rich melted dark fruits (blackcurrants, blueberries and cherries) and bitter almonds.
Finish: Long, deep and remaining powerful with chocolate coated cherries, coffee and hot pepper sauce.
