This heavily-peated single malt Scotch whisky is from Benromach’s Contrasts series, made with barley peated to 55ppm and aged in first-fill sherry hogsheads.

 

Nose Baking spice, raspberry, rich smoke, and dark chocolate.

Palate Cinnamon pastries, orchard fruit, and orange peel.

Finish Dried fruit and ginger.

Product Features
  • Nose: Hints of oak and vanilla creme brulee leading to generous caramelised fruits and polished oak.
  • Palate: Sweet and concentrated start with some jammy blackcurrant fruitiness. A big palate with spice and fruit.
  • Finish: A crisp finish with cocoa, dark chocolate and a mildly smokey aftertaste.
