Product Description

Released in 2014 when current owners, Bacardi (who own John Dewar & Sons), re-launched the brand with three core expressions, a 13yo, a 17yo and a 23yo. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, which are then vatted together and split in half, with one half going into first-fill sherry casks and the other into first-fill bourbon casks to be finished for several months. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Product Features
  • Nose: Aromas of oozing toasted marshmallows, and baked apples studded with cloves, with the tang of sulphury, cordite lingering in the background.
  • Palate: Delivers a malty and sweet complexity with a slight savoury smokiness and a refreshing tropical fruit.
  • Finish: A finish that is slightly smokey.
